Dalhart, Texas | Seems as if the elevators, end users need a reason to bid down the corn price here so they are going to start testing every load for it this fall. Should be interesting as they will not release funds until the testing is complete unless you need the money asap in which case they will give you 50%. Wonder how they will keep things segregated being as the testing results are not immediate as I understand it. Sounds like insurance claims can be made, but how long till they don't cover this or they jack the rates up? The discounts sound as if they could be substantial even though it has been around here since the early 80s. | |
