Missouri

Goal here is to market culls one year before they fall apart.  We start the process like now to identify the cows to be culled in 2018.  Those cows are separated off and handled different almost a year in advance of selling.  We then utilize McDonald Specials or Puff Cows, for graft calves for mistakes as time allows.  Maybe even make bobby calves to 4-H kids.  $100 plus cover all expenses, give us back the calf eating grain after the fair.  Early wean calves that have been on creep.  Sell Culls remaining, first of Aug before price drops and start over.
