Rockford, IL | In the September 12 USDA report they raised the ending stocks by 15 million bushels (now at 146) due to a reduction in export of 10 million bushels along with an increase in imports of 5 million bushels. Informa yesterday came out with their thoughts on what Spring Wheat numbers will look like in the Small Grains Annual Report released on September 29 and lowered their production estimates to 301 million bushels which would take the current 2017/18 ending stocks down to 101 million acres which would be the lowest since 2007/08.
USDA currently is assuming that only 4% of the crop will not be harvested for grain.
Market down 6 as I am writing this.
