Virginia | We still use one as a backup. Worst thing is handling the bales. Don't use sisal twine unless you store them under roof so the twine doesn't rot. I prefer them when baling corn fodder to be used for bedding. Cut the twine and the fodder bale falls apart. You should be able to buy one pretty cheap. Most people don't like them. If you're selling hay your hay customers won't be very happy with a soft center bale. | |
