open outcry was the best in my opinion. price determined out there in the open in 1 spot 4 the world to see. i don't miss calling in orders and waiting 1/2 hour for fills though. in that regard I like the digital domain.
you can learn a lot about trading at your local auction if you pay close attention long enough.
