I can see us lose 5 to 10 bushels an acre on these beans if we dont get rain this month. Beans will be real small. More yield loss from drought then frost right now. Looks like its going to stay dry for the next 10 days or so.
We were there a month ago. Beans without much green in them now that were grass green a week ago, yes it took a lot yield and and looks to continue here till the end. 1.4" here since July 21st, much more a few miles away in a lot of directions. Still a good crop but nothing like it could have been. |
