NW Ohio | Got the biggest rain event here in NW Ohio last night since July 12th. 1.2" Very thankful. this will put a nice finish on our 2017 measly Ohio crop. The frost discussion is very important to the market. You don't have to be trying to kill the crop to talk about it. Even without an early frost, I still think that most of these yield predictions will be the high water mark (sorry Texas) and that the actual yields will be coming in smaller than many of these guesses. 13.5 & 3.7 by the time it's all added up. But of course, that magical 300 million that is often found by the USDA is always in their cards. | |
