The chances of mid $5 corn and beans in the $13 are are very possible but in order to achieve those numbers many US farmers will be taking a haircut on yield. It may be through a frost or a very difficult harvest. maybe just a trim by a larger number of producers is the best case scenario.
Wish I could know "the reason" but it doesn't matter really. Could be a freeze, low yields, lower DX, many other countless possibilities. Fact is that the front month continues to suggest a run higher is coming. And I'd guess that this drive lower only led to the formation maturing and it now has provided the energy to rally. |
