| I tried no-line (progressive) bifocals two different times. By two different optometrists. The first pair I wore almost a week before giving up. I drive a semi daily and use my peripheral vision constantly. The distortion at the sides left me nauseated most of the time. I went to lined bifocals for a few years, and a new eye doctor talked me into trying the no-lines again.. I made it two days, and went back to regular bifocals. They didn't work for me.
I have my bifocal part set low in the lens and also at what power that works for computer distance work. I can glance down and read my gauges without tilting my head down. | |
