The corn is green and looking great still. The only concern there is lack of heat and if that will have any impact on final fill. We are something like 200GDU's behind normal and thus won't likely have a nice early corn harvest like we have the last few years. That could also lead to higher drying costs as later blacklayer usually means lower daily temps for drying in the field.

Most years I think my area is better off with warmer temps and average to below average rainfall (relatively speaking) for top end yield. That combination usually leads to roots down to tile level and below and more sunshine with less leaf disease pressure. This cool and dry combo is a bit of an oddity for the area so it may be an interesting harvest. The roots are definitely there, I just don't know that the lack of heat and sun will let the plants finish at max output.
