| Have you really wasted any feed yet? The cattle will eat the feed with weevils in it and probably enjoy the protein extra. Resting the grass may let some native warm season perennial plants show up that will add positive value to your pastures in future years. It is better to have feed(grass) and money and no cattle than have cattle and be out of feed and out of money. Check out some of Walt Davis' books or blogs. | |
