SW WI | Thanks for putting out your plan. I have always ran the unloader during filling. Was told that, when we put the Val metal sweep in, so tried to follow their advice. I have put dry Corn on the bottom from time to time. Especially if it looks like the Corn would be going in wetter than what I would prefer. I really like it around 22% for my hogs, then I don't always put dry on the bottom but I have always cleaned it completely out every year. Scoop shovel can get a lot but I like a square nosed dirt shovel to get things completely off the concrete. Seems the bottom inch likes to pack no matter what.
I'm going to get after getting a roller mill/ roller blower lined up. My small roller mill in my feed room needs work. This is a good time to make some changes. Thanks again. | |
