If budget doesn't allow concrete to drive on put down 2-3" base material rock, no 1" will hold up good if drainage is correct. I've got some cement 45 yrs. old and so 60. Still better than mud or gravel. For cattle I bet pay back on concrete vs rock is 5 to 10 years. Takes many ton of rock to keep mud down and concrete doesn't get hauled out in manure. JMO
