Not a DR by any means, but our daughter has taken prednisone several times in her 40 years to help control asthma. The withdrawal time was several days 7-10 days of less and less prednisone daily. Once they pulled her off too quick and she was maybe a,teenager and she hurt like hell all over
Doctor called another script so she could come off much slower.
Steriod withdrawal?
