United States | I've got a five year old cow that's got all four hooves splitting off as pictured. Just weaned her calf about a month ago. She's an ok cow, not great, but not bad either, she's moving gingerly. I'm tempted to send her off or butcher her rather than deal with an ongoing problem. She and the rest of the cows are on a pasture year round, but she's the only one having problems. Any ideas? I'm guessing some sort of mineral deficiency?
