Obviously there'd be a point of resistance in the pricing game, but the urban,young middle class with children, are somewhat preoccupied with doing the right thing by their children( like we all are). So they aren't afraid to forgo some things to make that happen.

Like you said, in the past with any of these incentive programs usually they throw a guy a couple bones, with the usual admonishment ( be happy you are getting that, we really wouldn't have to buy your animals at all).

And then eventually the "bonus" disappears. But you still have to do the work that was supposed to get you the bonus in the first place.

Here's a idea, maybe a bunch of us independent producers get together( ya I know the better term would probably be surviving independent producers, probably wouldn't need a very big room, at least for the hog guys) and come up with a plan and a pitch for mr. Bezos. You never know.
