Northeast Nebraska | I have a pretty similar situation. There is a ton of factors to put in place. Some intergators won't even look at a 1200 but you maybe in a great location where there is lots of intergators. Yes chores will be pretty similar on amount of time. You might me vaccinating those pigs 2 times also. It will take 2 people to sort or load. Either one you build don't do it cheap, stainless steel, plastic, and galvanised will help the life of the barn. I'd start talking to who you might want to raise pigs for before you get real serious. They may want tunnel ventilation over natural ventilation. If the price is right and can swing it go 2400. Good luck! | |
