Iowa | Sorry I'm just now seeing this thread. That kind of thing would kill me too. It's a dangerous profession for sure. when I get to a point where it kills my heart like that, I find one positive thing I can do to make it not happen to someone else. Whether that be educating every youngster you know about bin safety, putting more safety in place in your own farm, becoming more involved in4H teaching all about it, etc.
And, in times like this, tell people you love them. Remind them that harness is there for that very reason, because you're not sacrificing someone needlessly. | |
