1770, I never realized how many "holidays" there were in a year until my mother got a union job at Miles (now Bayer) ,each and every one was a paid day off unless you went in for double time OR heaven forbid the "holiday"fell on a Sunday,that was TRIPLE time. People wonder why ALKA-SELTZER costs so much??!!
