N.W. Ohio | I'd be shocked if Ohio wasn't lower on corn than last year with all the stand/replant issues. But on soybeans, I'd wager that Ohio is down substantially from last year. I know August is the month to make or break beans, but as we sit here in my backyard right now, soybeans are extremely stunted by the excess water. I'm just hoping that many areas don't just up and die. Maybe 30-40s here? if we're lucky??? Last year averaged 65 on this farm. And as I travel around, we are luckier than most. | |
