The dollar isn't the only thing to influence the price of corn but it seems to be the most powerful. At its present rate of descent it will take 11 months to get to the low 80's and that is where things start to take off. Just lay a 30 year plus corn chart over a 30 year dollar chart ant the influence looks pretty predictable.
