Southern Idaho | I'm new to this game, but my dad has always played it low risk and worked out very well for him. Like mentioned above I think when you can guarantee a good profit take it, even if you think the market might go up more. My dad always says "sell and hope you're wrong". The other thing I would say has helped him especially is seek out good information from as many sources as possible. He never sells grain without talking to 5 maybe even 10 other farmers about it first. That's why I like this site. There are certain people on here that I really value their opinion even when (maybe especially when) it is not the same as mine. | |
