Oklahoma | Averaging 40 here in central OK. The straw is heavy like 50-60 bu wheat but disappointing yields. Must have had disease come in late. We did apply fungicide at flag leaf but many around here did not. I'd expect the guys that didn't are having 30 bu yields. It's a far cry from last years 60-70 bu average. Grossing $130/acre isn't worth a damn.
Is this a similar story elsewhere or is it isolated to my local area? | |
