Southeast Colorado | For us wheat farmers I think times are pretty tough right now. I know folks will say, "well grow something else". Trust me that most are trying to convert out of wheat............but this is the wheat belt for a reason. The rainfall patterns and climate favor growing wheat. It would be exactly like telling folks from the corn belt to not grow corn anymore. Sure there are other options............but what can you plant that won't flood that market?? | |
