I could use all of our acres and increase the milking herd 4x. This would put all of my long term success into one single risk category. We made way more profit selling corn and beans than if we would be running the vacuum pump hrs a day. Lot of dairy guys taking bean meal prices in the teeth when we were able to selling at 15 dollar per bu. How does a bean counter factor that in?


So did you buy a lot more land to farm more acres?
