We run quite a bit of permanent. Steel and only steel. Fires destroy plastic and UV does also. Always run a negative on the bottom with 2 wires or a negative in the middle with 3. They work but they still aren't a barbed wire fence. Those guys are working to get perimeters up, not cross fences. We would never have electric on the perimeter.
