Renwick Iowa | had a calf born this morning and thought that it had been stepped on, after looking at it I realized it wasn't or hadn't been bleeding.. so thought I would call the vet.. . After sending a picture to my vet, the verdict they came up with is the calf has spina bifida... I got the calf up and it stood up (Not that great but only a hour old) Just wondering if anyone has seen this or what has happened.. The vet told me its kinda up in the air.. when they start growing there bones don't keep up with there bodies.. I guess we will see what happens..
I did a search on here and only 1 other topic came up so thought this would also help to get some information out there...
