That is the go to choice around here for notill burn down. Last year I was able to spray early and knew I wouldn't plant for another week so I added 4-5 oz of 24d. Never really needed it but had one farm with a million marestail and knew it sure wouldn't hurt. In 13 we had a wet year and didn't get into field until June 17. Only thing it didn't kill was thick areas of 24-30" giant rag. It was more of a coverage issue, it killed lone bigger plants. Usually spray 15-18 gallons.

I've sprayed in same field while planter was working. Not ideal, I like to go a couple days before but it doesn't really matter
