CIL | Have you checked for any recall/defect settlements for that model online? Parents were about ready to junk their Samsung, but I searched online and found a class action settlement over a little 10 cent resistor. Samsung paid for the tv repair guy to come out and fix it. It's been running flawlessly for several years since.
If you are looking for a new one, I'll second the LG recommendation. I've had one for four years and it's great. | |
