Never wish for bad crops for anybody, Last yr. lots of 200 + corn,60-80 beans and 100 bu. wheat which was for most best crop yr. ever...No idea what weather holds butback in 1977 weather was perfect ,beans averaged 57--corn,wheat best ever too.really wet harvest..then 1978 dry summer beans went 27 ...corn in '70's...and just starting farming fulltime ,built house in '77 ,tiled,Dad and I building hog barn and every rain cloud that came up dissipated...you survive but not fun
Bad weather is the only thing that keeps farmers from going broke. Think about it.
