SE SD | Never have used that type of bander so I have not formed an opinion
on it.
We use a Calicrate bander, slit the sacks first time this year and worked well.
I like the tightness of the Calicrate and the way they cut off of blood supply.
Use what your comfortable with.
Knife cut has taken a back seat here.
I do notice the knife fan club is pretty steadfast in thier beliefs.
Do what is best for your operation.
I have found its Tough to sell a calf that died from a bad cut job. | |
