Subject: What is the lowest ph soil you would plant beans on?

I have picked up some additional acreage that I just got a soil test back on. Some of the fields were 6.2 and others were 5.8. Trying to decide if it's worth renting and raising beans on it or should I let it go. It's not a big piece of ground, but it is next to some I am already rasing beans on. Is there anything I can add to help the beans without applying the 2 to 3 tons of lime the test recommends?

Thanks!
