Mine this year made 23 ton and when picked remainder of field avg was 220 bu. If corn is 3.25 at 220bu that's $715/ac. $715/23ton is $31 worth of corn in each ton of silage. Take into account extra material taken off of field should pry be worth a lot more. Maybe I'm not figuring right here. Idk. Maybe I should plant a silage variety and improve my tonnage
