Will not mix good enough for what your doing.If your dead set on doing it spend some on a grinder mixer . Don't need to crack it but needs to be mixed .Would be easy to unload and would be alright for storage as long as corn is dry and you keep it dry.
With a stuff I think your better off whole corn.
