| I've never used Silotite or Triowrap, but there's a big difference between regular Sunfilm and Sunfilm Gold. The latter has much more stretch to it and much more tack (basically a softer plastic). I've also used some other brands PolyXL that were actually thicker film 1.1mil instead of 1.0mil or something like that. That had more stretch too, but there was a lot less feet of it on a roll too.
I'm not sure what they mean by 5 layer or 3 layer, but wouldn't wrap anything with only 3 layers of wrap on it.
I've been using only Sunfilm Gold for the past couple of years and that's the only one that some suppliers around me stock now so I guess I'm not the only one that thinks it's worth the extra cost (maybe $10 more per roll?). | |
