Mike, I will rejoin this conversation to point out that I am not accusing you of anything. I certainly don't know all the details of your transaction. If you will read my post above carefully I am just asking questions.

I look at a listing on a consignment list as basically an agreement with the sale barn. Not a written agreement, but an implied one.  If you listed with Bloomington with an agreement that you might sell outside the sale that is a different ball game.

The cattle business is generally one of the last where a handshake and a man's word are worth something. I would hate to see that change.

As in any of my posts nothing personal intended. I don't "call people out".
