I agree, I would think it would give off a flavor that I personally wouldn't care for. I can tell in the flavor of my meat which flavor of pellets I'm using. To me corn smoked meat doesn't sound to appealing.


not to hijack too much, but what kind of grill do you have. i have been looking at the pit boss. my favorite store (menards) had them. a cheaper grill compared to most. only one year warranty. there is no meat temp. probe on the ones i looked at. i don't know how important that is. i think higher priced ones have a better controller, and maybe other features too. i called the company in canada. it is an import grill and parts are available from them.
