| Had an offer to take over a farm in Minnesota. Farm is comprised of 40 acres. and about 30 head of Holsteins being ran as beef cattle. There is 2 lean to sheds and an old tie stall dairy barn. I know nothing about dairy and don't really ever intend to. Was wondering if it would be in my best interest to switch over to another breed? IF so what breed? I'm not a millionaire and the farm has no equipment. What would you experianced guys recommend for someone starting out with land and buildings but nothing else? Equipment and Cattle.. | |
