Subject: For you cattle guys...working dog video

south east Indiana
Finally got some video of a dog doing a bit of cattle work. This is a 6 yr old border collie - Marco. Jeff buys 150 ish 400 lb steers in small groups or singles through multiple sales in KY spring and again in fall.
He rotationally grazes them, vaccinates, implants, feeds them in bunks some and sells at 800ish lbs. Marco is his first Border Collie and first working dog. The dog is super natural, lots of really good things about him as well as he and Jeff have a good relationship.
Like most talented dogs Marco can push the limits some and honestly Jeff is slow in making him tow the line but they work well together and enjoy the work.

There are 3 different videos of Marco working, nothing big, just doing a pretty good job of moving non dog broke steers. This is the sire to Zeva's pups.

I have yet to convince Jeff to be in front and let Marco handle bringing the cattle... a work in progress. People take longer to train
