It seems I am always screwing up with my devices. I have verizen and want to have one place where I store on the cloud. I have Apple and Verizon on the cloud . I am still afraid to delete my photos on my devices for fear of losing them. I have trust issues.
I originally had the same password for my computer and iPhone and somehow that has changed. I want my wifes iPhone to share the apple photo share but we can't get it to happen. We have sat at the Verizon phone store for hours trying to resolve these issues but they always come back. I need a 13 year old to come live with me for awhile.
Uninstall Verizon Cloud.
Turn off iCloud on the iPhone & the Mac.
Plug the iPhone into the Mac & back it up using iTunes.
Get an external hard drive, set up two partitions, and plug it into your Mac.
Turn Time Machine on pointed at partition #1 of the external drive.
Download the Trial Version of Carbon Copy Cloner.
Run Carbon Copy Cloner pointed at partition #2 of the external drive.
You can learn to do all these processes yourself.
Enter questions into a search engine.
Go to Apple’s Support page.
Ask more questions in this forum.
Etc.
After getting your backup & clone done you can decide how to share files, photos, etc.
You don’t necessarily need the cloud.
And, avoid the Verizon & Best Buy stores.
