SW So Dakota | I know the country as I live about an hour east of this ranch. It's good hard grass but water could be an issue unless they are on the Mni Wachoni water line which they probably are. You can run a pair on about 10 acres for the grazing season but I don't know how much hay ground they have. A lot of ranchers in that area set aside a good percentage of their land as winter range and feed cake for protein. I would guess it could run 400 cows. | |
