2 cup vinegar,half c water,1c sugar,1tbsp salt.1 tsp pickling spice, boil this.let cool and pour over doz shelled boiled eggs and 1 sliced onion. I use a 2 qrt jar with lid. Set in frig 3 days. Good to eat. Use as much or little onion as you want.
