Didn't happen to buy them at hub city Aberdeen did you? There was a whole semi load listed one time in December of all confirmed twins on a large sale. For a brief moment I thought that could be a fun challenge but then came back to reality. Sorry for your luck.
Not at Aberdeen, but I bought 6 twiner heifers at a barn three years ago.
Nice heifers. They were about 400 bucks off the money.
My thought process revolved around, what the heck, take a chance, not that many.
I just plain got lucky, only two sets of twins. I figure they had been ultrasounded
early in thier gestation and either absorbed one or slipped one.
Still have 4 of the six around. |
