Not true. Dicamba has a little residual if any to bank on. It is highly water soluble so in a low rainfall environment you may see a week of residual, I don't think I could guarantee two weeks out of it at all.
If you have normal rainfall I would only expect a few days of residual.

To answer your question, dicamba may offer some residual but it is highly dependent upon the weather.
