| We recently replaced the original circle fluorescent fixture in our 1950's home. Found a fixture we liked and use the led bulbs....what an improvement. More light...no more bulbs that won't come on without flicking the switch....repeatedly. We did find a fixture that had a glass shade and uses 3 regular base bulbs....no special bulbs to buy. Glass shade fits tight to the base so no coolection area for bugs/flies to get caught in....unlike fixtures that hang down from the base and open shade for bugs to die in. Ours came from Menards...not real expensive. | |
