Why would they do that? They're importing beef. What's it matter if the label says from USA. If they don't want it then buy from Mexico, Can, Australia, Brazil, etc.
A billion dollar sanction is not going to yield any of those prices. A billion dollars is roughly 750,000 worth of fat cattle. There are over 98 million head of cattle in America. That's a drop in the bucket.
America has to stand up for itself in the trade world.
