I have the same planter setup and the original poster has and I leave the box's & meter's on the pusher units while planting corn. I do leave off the seed discs of course. As someone else mentioned, I used compressed air and blow out the seed tubes and meters. Be careful not to hit the brushes in the meters with compressed air. Not a good deal.
