central alberta | We had a L9000 with the 3406 and it was straight piped....like yours way to loud....we didn't have any room to put the mufflers up the side, so we put a small resonating muffler under the cab. This was the only place possible for a muffler and it wasn't much space but it fit. It didn't really take much noise out of it, still to dang loud. If it was me and you have the room, I would put the stack mufflers on....that little muffler didn't do much, but it did satisfy the DOT... :) and prevented me a ticket :) | |
