I understand it depends on what part of Minnesota you live in and what your soil types are, but IIRC the last time the US had a major drought (2012) you fellows up in MN and the Red River Valley of the north harvested a pretty darn good crop and were able to sell it dry off the combine for record prices. Up in your country the number one limiting factor for corn yields would probably be heat units, in a warmer than normal year I think you'll be all right. Here in SESD we are under a blizzard watch with expected snowfall of 14 inches. Last year was the second wettest spring in my 25 year farming and this winter has been wetter, it's February 22 and we're worried about drought, not here. I'm hoping I can get my crops planted on time, not in mid to late June like last year.
