I would be a little concerned using Banvel. Banvel has a poor score for crop tolerance. Michigan State University gives it it's worst rating for crop tolerance in wheat. Harmony has a good crop tolerance rating. And there are generics available for Harmony too. A lot of it depends on the weeds you need to control. Harmony is a good product for most of the weeds we need to control on our farm. Especially if we have a good stand that will provide good canopy coverage. The one weed that Harmony is weak on that we can have issue with, is common ragweed. Below is the Michigan State University weed control guide that I use as a reference for herbicide decisions. I would think it would be just as applicable for you in N.C. as in Michigan. But perhaps not.
